Japan still stays on top as the healthiest country in the world. Japan is the healthiest nation for men and women alike and has obviously taken this health thing seriously as they have made sure that they are kept in the number one place. The healthcare system of Japan takes proper care of its people and ensures that they are checked on frequently in case there is anything that may be detected. No one can exactly pinpoint why but the Japanese have been the healthiest for two decades now and may possibly stay that way for a long time. Life expectancy for both male and female has increased in the last ten years for the Japanese and has done so in consistent manner.

There are different factors as to why a country is healthy or not healthy and although this cannot be exactly identified, factors such as lifestyle, diet, genetics and healthy behaviour all account for something. A country that is aware of what it consumes and the lifestyle that is being bred greatly impact whether the people will be healthy or not. In countries that are poverty stricken and obviously have shortage of resources will force the people to eat less and to eat only what is available. Though the case may not always be because of economic growth or if whether a country is poor or not poor, these are not the only measure of a country’s healthiness.
